The British Muslim Heritage Centre is a Grade II* Listed building within the conservation area of Whalley Range, Manchester. We are involved with the £3m refurbishment of the building and have helped the centre secure planning permission for a marque and radio station. The refurbishment consisted of 22 new offices and 54 bedrooms.
Colwyn Chambers

Colwyn Chambers is a Grade II Listed Building located within a Conservation Area at the junction of Mosley Street and New York Street in Central Manchester.
Constructed in 1898 by J. Gibbon Sankey, the building was formerly the headquarters of the Lancashire Mercantile Bank and is now occupied by various shops, a restaurant, and offices.
The building is a remarkable example of Neo-Baroque style architecture, featuring Portland stone with polished granite on the ground floor and a slate roof. The rectangular plan on the end-of-block site, with chamfered corners, adds to its unique architectural character.
Our proposal encompasses a comprehensive redesign of the ground floor, aimed at transforming it into an exquisite Greek café.
York Street Mill

York Street Mill is a 3-storey commercial building built c.1891. The site is located on the outskirts of Bury city centre.

KD Grammar School is A Grade II Listed Building located within Whalley Range Conservation Area in Manchester. Design proposals were prepared for new science labs on the top floor. Additionally, feasibility studies were prepared to review the possibility of bedroom provisions on the South Wing.

Previously a nursery we have gained planning permission for the change of use into a community and religious centre with children evening classes. Extensive historical studies were carried out to meet the requirements of the local conservation team.

Huxley St Mosque

This project involves the conversion of an existing mill building into a religious centre for learning and prayer for the local Muslim community. The centre will provide learning facilities for men, women and children while providing extra curriculum activities for children. The refurbishment works include a full remodelling of the existing mill on all 3-floors and is due to be completed in 2022.

The project at Didsbury Mosque involved the design and construction of 3no. external entrance canopies. We gain planning permission and project managed the completion of the works. The canopies are designed to assimilate themselves with the historical building and the roof patterns take inspiration from the building directly.

This project involves the conversion of an existing Zion Baptist Church into a religious centre for learning and prayer for the local Muslim community in Rochdale. External works are limited due to the historical significance of the building with only a small extension and insertions of roof lights. Internally, the building will be fully refurbished.
